Greece recovers bodies of 2 hikers


(MENAFN) Local authorities declared that two men have died in two hiking accidents in Greece.

The Fire Brigade confirmed that the corpse of a Greek, aged 39, was found in a gorge on mountain Tymfi in northwestern Greece.

The deceased, who is a policeman and father of 4 children, plunged in the gorge while hiking with two of his friends on Saturday.

The Fire service confirmed that Greek firefighters also recovered the body of another hiker on Sunday from a mountainous area in Peloponnese peninsula in southern Greece near the town of Leonidio, 120 kilometers southwest of Athens.
