Palestine's Abbas blasts U.S. 'Deal of Century'
(MENAFN) Palestine's President Mahmoud Abbas criticized the "Deal of the Century" the United States is planning to announce in the short term.
During a meeting, the Palestinian president stressed "the Palestinian cause is passing through difficult circumstances, but the Palestinian people and their leadership are on a level of responsibility."
"We have many difficult missions, mainly the Deal of the Century, or the U.S. peace plan, which will be declared soon to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict," the president affirmed.
Abbas also conveyed Palestinians' dismissal of the peace proposal since it excludes Jerusalem, saying "therefore, we don't want to hear the rest of the plan."
