"I've been fortunate to work within many different aspects of the health care industry, but from a young age I've always enjoyed interacting with seniors," says Merry. "At this point in my life and career I want to be able to make a difference and am excited to connect and build relationships with seniors and their families on a deeper level."
Prior to joining Benchmark, Merry was the director of community business development for Home Health Foundation, one of the largest and most respected home care agencies in Massachusetts, where he oversaw the development and implementation of strategic, agency-wide marketing and sales plans to maintain and grow collaborative relationships within the medical community. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He is married with a daughter, and in his spare time enjoys barefoot water skiing.
"John shares our commitment to collaborating with others in our industry and has an outstanding record of customer service so we are excited to welcome him to our team," says Lara Eldridge, Benchmark's regional director of operations. "More importantly, he shares our mission to elevate human connection and keep our residents and their families connected to what matters most in their lives."
