Bulgaria to prevent potential migration flow

(MENAFN) Bulgaria was confirmed on Monday to have stepped up its efforts to prevent any potential immigration flow into the country from Greece or Turkey.

Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov revealed that "a meeting with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has just been held in connection with the movement of migrant masses in some neighboring countries."

According to the defense minister, the Bulgarian government warned of a new movement of migrants, saying that it was not eliminated entirely.

Karakachanov assured that "everything necessary will be done, and if anyone aims to provoke Bulgaria from outside, we have taken all necessary measures to prevent it from happening."
