Cargill establishes new plant in China
(MENAFN) U.S. agriculture and food firm Cargill has begun the construction of a new plant to produce premix and animal nutrition products in east China's Jiangxi Province.
With a total investment of nearly USD40 million, the plant covers around 48,000 square meters and is expected to start operation by the end of next year.
The plant will likely produce 120,000 tons of premix and 60,000 tons of specialty young animal feed per year.
Managing director of Cargill's premix business in China said: "Cargill is deeply committed to China's livestock and animal nutrition industry. This investment brings a world-class facility designed to contribute to a more safe and sustainable food system for China."
