Azerbaijani books on display in Italy [PHOTO]

Azerbaijani books are for the first time presented at the Bologna Children's book Fair in Italy.
The national stand highlights Azerbaijan's culture, children's literature books as well as the project "Recognition of the Azerbaijan Book in the World", Azertag reported.
Azerbaijani stand also gives an insight into the Baku International Book Exhibition-Fair, which will take place on September 27-29.
The main purpose of the event is to promote reading habits, to familiarize readers with the national and foreign publications, as well as to create cooperation opportunities between national and foreign publishing houses.
Each year the Bologna Children's Book Fair welcomes thousands of professionals from all over the world who meet and do business at this well-known trade event.
In over 50 years of its history, the Bologna Children`s Book Fair has managed to attract an increasing number of operators, extending the scope of activities to include the world of digital publishing, apps, animation and licensing, becoming a unique and not-to-be-missed event, and the world leader in the sector for kids and young adults.
The Bologna Children`s Book Fair brings together about 1400 participants, including publishers, authors, illustrators, literary agents and distributors from 80 countries.
