Ruth O'Keefe Promoted to ThinkGenetic Vice President, Marketing and Patient Advocacy
Ms. O'Keefe is focused on growing the ThinkGenetic brand by bringing over a decade of professional marketing, communications, and advocacy experience to efficiently and creatively lead the ThinkGenetic marketing and advocacy outreach teams. Her varied experiences in social media and marketing within a digital marketing team, a premier IBM IT company, and as a private consultant have provided her with a unique perspective on marketing.
When asked about the decision to promote Ms. O'Keefe, ThinkGenetic President and Co-Founder, Len Barker stated, 'Ruth has that unique blend of experience, talent, and boundless energy that make people want to follow her. With the rapid expansion of ThinkGenetic's marketing and advocacy programs ThinkGenetic needs someone to lead these important aspects of our business. Over the course of her career, Ruth has preferred projects that speak to her heart. Accordingly, she has purposefully and successfully developed a specialization in the unique needs of supporting and collaborating with groups of all sizes in the rare disease community.

Ruth O'Keefe completed a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hartford where she held a double emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations. She was awarded Excellence in the Study of Advertising from the same establishment.
