Rasmi sparks Redco to Qatar Airways Cricket Tournament Div B T20 title

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Redco Internationals, boosted by Rasmi's impressive four-wicket haul, underlined their might and outplayed Shah XI by six wickets to win the Division B title at the Qatar Airways Twenty20 cricket tournament at the West Bay Grounds.
Asked to set the target, Shah XI failed to get going and collapsed for a mere 110 in 16.3 overs after Rasmi grabbed four wickets for 16 in his 3.3 overs.
He was supported by Faheem, who picked three for 23 in his four-over spell.
Saleem was the top-scorer for Shah XI with an 18-ball 21 runs, including two sixes and two fours and Amir Shah made 12.
Redco International darted to the victory in 12.2 overs. Marson slammed two sixes and three boundaries in 22-ball 33, while Janaka smashed five fours to get 26.
Rasmi chipped in with 14 off 10 balls to bag the man of the match award. Saleem secured two wickets for 21.
Challengers Club capped their exciting chase against Zerone Youngsters to clinch the Division C title, riding Faizan's all-round performance.
Zerone Technologies, asked to bat first, put up a demanding 163-run target for the rivals at the expense of seven players, as Sheran struck a six and four boundaries to compile 54 off 53 balls.
Feroz made 25, which included a six and a four. Faizan conceded 31 runs for two scalps.
Man-of-the-match Faizan returned to the pitch later and fired five boundaries to give momentum to the Challengers Club's chase.
Hadi added 26 with a six and two fours in his 19-ball knock. As result, Challengers Club managed to post the win off the penultimate ball. Anil S (three for 25) and Russell had five wickets between them.
