Armenian forces kill Azerbaijani soldier
(MENAFN) An Azerbaijani soldier was killed in a clash at Armenia-Azerbaijan frontline, according to Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry on Tuesday.
The ministry stated in a statement that Armenian forces violated the truce and murdered a soldier, named as Ellez Ellezov, in the shooting.
Azerbaijan and Armenia remain in conflict over the occupied Karabakh region.
Karabakh broke away from Azerbaijan in 1991 with Armenian military' support, and a peace procedure has yet to be applied.
