Mongolia pushes efforts in water management

(MENAFN) Mongolian Prime Minister Ukhnaa Khurelsukh announced on Monday the country to be planning to form an independent agency responsible for water management.

Speaking to water analysts, the Mongolian prime minister stated "I have fully supported a proposal by water experts on establishing an agency which is in charge of the issues of the country's water."

Related ministers already received a demand from the prime minister to carry out a study on the matter.

It comes after it was found that water use in Mongolia stands between 7 and 160 liters per day, Khurelsukh advisor N. Enkhbayar revealed earlier.
