(MENAFN) Greek national news agency AMNA revealed that an Athens prosecutor has filed charges against nine officials over the flash floods of November 2017 in western Attica which claimed 25 lives.

Attica Regional Governor Rena Dourou, three local mayors and officials of the forestry and zoning authorities were indicted of negligent manslaughter, violation of duty and breaking of construction rules among others.
