KSA, Jordan cooperation in uranium mining training plan
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia commenced an initiative that sends its staff and cadres to Jordan in order to receive training in the uranium mining sector, confirmed the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission.
According to the commission, it is joining hands with Jordanian Uranium Mining Company for the program which will keep going for a period of one year.
Saudis, the commission explained, will be trained in uranium ore exploration, uranium oxide manufacturing and feasibility research.
It comes two years after Jordan and Saudi Arabia secured several cooperation deals on the exploration uranium along with a joint feasibility revision on setting up two small modular reactors (SMRs) in Jordan.
