Some iconic names in the world of wrestling have been WWE champions, but there have been some whose reigns have not even managed to cross a day!

Here are the five shortest WWE title reigns of all time.

Daniel Bryan managed to defeat John Cena at SummerSlam 2013, and he was ecstatic on winning, enjoying the moment with the fans as confetti flew all around.

However, guest referee Triple H suddenly hit him with a Pedigree and then Randy Orton slipped inside the ring and cashed in his Money in The Bank.

Bryan's championship lasted around 4 minutes and 7 seconds.


John Cena's Elimination Chamber 2010 reign was quite short

At Elimination Chamber 2010, John Cena fought Randy Orton, Triple H, Sheamus, Ted DiBiase and Kofi Kingston to win the WWE Championship.

However, when he was celebrating his win, McMahon came out and told Cena that he could go to WrestleMania only if he managed to defeat Batista.

Batista appeared and power-bombed Cena, ending his reign in three minutes thirty-three seconds.


Yokozuna's title reign was Hulk-smashed at WrestleMania IX

At WrestleMania IX, Yokozuna managed to defeat Bret Hart in the main-event to capture the WWE Championship.

However, he cheated his way to victory with his manager tossing salt in Hart's eyes.

Hulk Hogan then came out, defeated Yokozuna, and won the WWE Championship himself.

Yokozuna managed to hold on to the title for 2 minutes, 6 seconds.

It happened at Money in The Bank (2016), when he defeated his former Shield-partner Roman Reigns to win the WWE Championship.

However, the other Shield member, Dean Ambrose, who had won the MITB ladder match, came out and cashed in his contract.

Ambrose defeated Rollins, wrapping his reign up in two minutes.

However, it is this star who has seen the shortest WWE title reign in history.

In a match against Hulk Hogan for the WWE Championship, Andre defeated the Hulkster to win the title.

However, Ted DiBiase came at the ring, and Andre handed him the title, losing in 1 minute, 48 seconds.
