FM to deliver Jordan

Sharm el-Sheikh, Feb. 14 (Petra) -- Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi, who is leading Jordan's delegation to the first edition of the Arab-European Summit which opened in Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh today, will Monday deliver the Kingdom's speech at the event.
On the sidelines of the summit, the minister met with a number of Arab and European counterparts and officials taking part in the gathering.
Safadi held talks on Jordanian-European relations and Middle East issues with Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/ Vice-President of the EU Commission.
He also discussed with Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Hahn economic cooperation between the Kingdom and the European Union and the London Initiative 2019 conference, which will be held in London this weekend to support the economy and investment in Jordan.
Safadi also held talks with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Foreign Minister of Latvia, Edgar Rinkevich, and Spain's Josep Borrell Fontelles.
