Turkish Airlines receives 28,000 travelers in stopover program


(MENAFN) Over the last two years, the stopover initiative Turkish Airlines commenced welcomed 28,000 travelers in Istanbul coming from 28 countries.

In a statement, the Turkish flag carrier announced that it launched in its project sixteen new destinations, with China, Japan and India among them.

The airline further noted that it first launched the free stopover service program back in March 2017.

Chief Marketing Officer Ahmet Olmustur affirmed that "we aim to expand the scope of our project, which contributes to the development of our country's tourism through new Istanbul Airport."
