Two were killed in western Herat province, while three in
Farah after floods smacked their houses.
In a statement, Afghanistan National Disaster Management

Herat alone.
Provincial governor spokesman, Jelani Farhad said heavy rain
and snow caused closure of highways.
Herat officials said due to heavy rain and snow, flights
