Intelligence officer gunned down in Kabul
Mohibullah Sharifzai, Maidan Wardak governor's spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Qala-i-Kashif area on Friday evening.
Unknown gunmen killed Feroz, serving in Maidan Wardak province. Feroz was the brother of the special forces commander and police chief for Chak district.
As usual, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the killing of the intelligence officer. Zabihullah Mujahid, the group's spokesman, said Feroz was serving as commander of a special forces unit.
