Kuwait Amir congratulates Qatar for reaching AFC's final match

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 29 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani after Qatari football team qualified Tuesday for the Asian Football Cup's (AFC) final match, held at the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
His Highness the Amir said this achievement was a victory for the Gulf and Arab football, commending the spirit shown by the two competing teams.
His Highness the crown prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated Sheikh Tamim for the Qatari team's advancing to the AFC's final.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable. (end) bs
