Iran's advisers, hardware to remain in Syria

(MENAFN) Iran is determined not to withdraw its military advisers and hardware from Syria, dismissing all the warnings Israel is issuing.

Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) chief commander Mohammad Ali Jafari made the assertion, as reported Press TV on Thursday.

The chief affirmed that "we will protect all of the military advisers as well as weapons and equipment that we have deployed in Syria in order to reinforce the Islamic resistance fighters and support the people of this Islamic country."

"The ridiculous threat means nothing to us," Jafari added in reference to the new warnings Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made.
