(MENAFN) Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations with Ethiopia during talks with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Workneh Gebeyehu.
The two leaders applauded Sudan-Ethiopia relations during a meeting which took place in Khartoum on Monday.
The foreign minister hailed relations between his country and Sudan, affirming that they are "strong and based on mutual understanding and mutual benefits."
Sudan's Foreign Minister Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed also praised the foreign minister's visit, describing it as part of reinforced ties between the two sides.
