Egypt exports USD1.85b petroleum in 9 months


(MENAFN) Egypt exported USD1.85 billion worth of petroleum from January to September this year, amounting for a 5 percent jump.

Egypt exported crude oil at a value of USD1.55 billion during the first nine months of 2018, from the USD1.52 billion recorded last year during the same period.

Petroleum goods exports in Egypt registered USD195 million in nine months, from USD240 million posted last year.

The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) showed the figures in a bulletin recently issued.

The country also collected USD4.98 billion in its petroleum imports, compared to the USD3.83 billion of last year's data.
