Chilly, cloudy weekend in UAE as temperature nears 8C

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The weekend will be cloudy, thanks to the dipping temperature in the UAE. It is the perfect time to take your car and set out for a drive to explore other emirates.

Apart from being windy, there could be a cloud activity over the weekend. A dip in temperature in also expected.

Patches of fog were reported during the early hours of the morning on Thursday in different parts of the UAE. Al Ruwais-Ghayathi road, Madinat area, Gasyoura saw heavy fog on Thursday.

Giving today's weather update the NCM said the day will be fair to partly cloudy with a probability of some convective clouds over eastern areas.

Light to moderate winds could blow and waves will be moderate in general in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

The temperature in the coastal areas could oscillate between 24 to 28 degree Celsius. In the internal areas, it could waver between 25 to 29 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature recorded on December 13 at 8am was 8.9 degree Celsius at Jais mountain.
