Turkish Airlines passenger traffic up 10 percent
(MENAFN) Turkish Airlines recorded a 10 percent boost in its passenger traffic during the first eleven months of this year, as it welcomed 69.7 million passengers.
The Turkish national flag carrier further registered a 3 percent increase in the rate of its seat occupancy from January to November, reaching 82 percent.
The flag carrier confirmed that "excluding international-to-international transfer [transit] passengers, number of international passengers went up significantly by 12 percent."
The carrier also posted a 25 percent jump on annual basis in the volume of its cargo during the period, standing at 1.3 million tons.
