Ukrainian Canadian Congress elects new president. Photos


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Alexandra Chyczij was unanimously elected and sworn in as President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.

As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, the decision was made at the meeting of the Board of Directors and Annual General Meeting of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress in Montreal, Quebec on December 7-9, 2018.

Andrea Kopylech becomes First Vice President and Alex Ilchenko joins the UCC Executive Committee as Second Vice President.

'President Chyczij and Vice-Presidents Kopylech and Ilchenko have a long and successful track record of community and professional leadership, and I am certain that they, together with our accomplished Board of Directors, will continue to capably and skilfully lead the UCC, said ex-president of the UCC Paul Grod, who was recently elected President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC).
