(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : The Westin presented Turkish Food Festival_ Taste of Istanbul_ by MasterChef M Burc Tuncel from November 24. The festival continued till November 30.
Throughout the week authentic Turkish delicacies of different regions of Turkey were served for all the food lovers.
The Westin Dhaka's newly appointed Executive Chef M Burc Tuncel, who has years of experience in renowned hotel chains such as Marriott, Hilton and Wyndham, year-long celebrity appearance in MasterChef UK and work experience in Michelin-starred restaurants led the charge of delighting the guests with lip-smacking Turkish food.
At the food testing ceremony of the festival at Seasonal Tastes, the buffet restaurant, Westin Dhaka's Resident Manager Shakawath Hossain inaugurated the festival. The Westin Dhaka's Executive Chef M Burc Tuncel, Director of Sales and Marketing Md Al-Amin and F & B Service Manager Khorshed Alam were present on the occasion.
Turkish dishes such as iskender kebab, izgara inegol koftesi, tepsi boregi and many other delectable dishes were prepared by Chef Tuncel and presented to the guests for tasting.
The food festival was a dinner only event and the buffet dinner is priced at Tk 5500 per person. Special B1G1 offers were available for selective customers of Robi Ace, Standard Chartered Bank, BRAC Bank, NCC Bank, Prime Bank, Southeast Bank and United Commercial Bank and Midland Bank.
