Jordan partakes in Knowledge Summit 2018 in Dubai

Dubai, Dec.4 (Petra) -- The fifth annual "Knowledge Summit 2018", organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) is set to kick off Wednesday bearing the theme "Youth and the Future of the Knowledge Economy."

The summit will bring together prominent and influential international speakers and professionals from various fields of knowledge from all over the world, as well as specialists who have insights into the youth sector in the Arab region and the world.

HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, President of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), and Chair of the Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) and Youth Minister Mohammad Abu Rumman, as well as Malaysian Youth and Sports Minister, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, will participate in as session entitled "The Youth: Leaders of Change towards a Knowledge Economy."

The session will shed light on developing the youth's skills to meet challenges of the future job market and empowering today's youth to build tomorrow's economy.

MBRF's CEO Jamal bin Huwaireb said the summit's fifth edition is in line with the UAE's vision 2021 to build a competitive and knowledge-based economy that supports the concepts of innovation and creativity and leverage advanced technology in promoting human well-being and prosperity.

At the opening session, results of the 2018 Global Knowledge Index will be announced, and winners of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge and Illiteracy in the Arab World Challenge will be honored.
