Afghanistan: 10 security personnel die in Taliban attack
(MENAFN) A member of provincial council Abdul Ahad Albeg declared that 10 security personnel have been killed as 3 more were wounded after Taliban militants stormed checkpoint in Qaisar district of the northern Faryab province on Sunday.
The official added that a group of Taliban militants targeted a security checkpoint in Arkalik area of Qaisar district late Sunday night.
Albeg confirmed that the suspects escaped the scene after shooting dead 10 personnel and wounding 3 more.
Police are yet to announce the report.
