Moroccan navy rescues 53 migrants, discovers 15 bodies


(MENAFN) The Moroccan military confirmed its navy to have been able to save 53 immigrants in the Mediterranean.

However, the Moroccan navy also discovered fifteen corpses off the Mediterranean on Saturday.

Morocco's royal navy units discovered while on patrol a boat the immigrants used to travel off the northern city of Nador.

The fifty-three rescued migrants, with eight women among them, were unveiled to be from sub-Saharan African countries.
