Iraq: 3 miners die in roadside bomb blast

(MENAFN) Police and medical sources declared that over three miners have died as six more were injured when a roadside bomb blasted near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

Police added that the explosion took place close to a bus with the high school students in the Shura area to the south of Mosul on board.

Further information surrounding the accident is yet to be released.

The city, which was reclaimed from Islamic State militants last year, has witnesses many explosions in recent months, including one which claimed 6 lives in October.
