(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- The Fourth Youth Excellence and Creativity Award was announced by the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs on Sunday.
Undersecretary at the Ministry Safeeq Omar said in a press conference that the award was part of the country's sustainable development plans for the youth.
The award allocates KD 100,000 (USD 300,000) for winners of the competition, said Omar who affirmed that the state would always encourage creativity and excellence among the youth of Kuwait.
On his part, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Youth Meshal Al-Subai'ee said that youth were encouraged to submit entries within various categories including sports, culture, arts, and others.
Participants, whether individuals or groups, should be between the ages of 14 and 35, indicated the official, adding that projects submissions would be through the Ministry's website on December 31. (end) my.gta
