Abu Dhabi's Hyperloop construction to begin 2019 Q3

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi was announced to have scheduled next year's third quarter for the commencement of the establishment of Hyperloop transport system.

The news was declared in a statement issued by Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT), a U.S. based firm.

HTT was revealed in the statement to have tasked Dar Al-Handasah, a Beirut-based design and engineering company, with providing help in the initiative.

It comes after a deal was penned this year by HTT and Abu Dhabi's Aldar Properties on the construction of the Hyperloop system for the UAE capital.

HTT Chairman Bibop Gresta affirmed: "we are bringing the future of rapid transportation technology to all those living in the UAE."
