First marine ambulance to be introduced in Gaza
(MENAFN) A marine ambulance is to be introduced for the first time in the Gaza Strip by the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The launch of the marine ambulance aims to offer medical aid to demonstrators while staging protests against the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip.
Ministry ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra explained that the decision "demonstrates the dedication of medical personnel and their ability to take all measures to secure the lives of peaceful civilians."
It comes as Palestine citizens have been carrying out rallies and naval demonstrations to stand against the blockade imposed by Israel for eleven years on the area.
