Kuwait, Amazon to put framework for cloud services in gov't sector
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority and Amazon Web Services (AWS) were putting frameworks and policies for cloud service to develop e-government services in Kuwait, CITRA said in a statement Monday.
CITRA said it was coordinating with Amazon to organize workshops inside Kuwait to provide solutions for the government sector in general, the health and educational sectors in particular, to provide state-of-art e-services for public.
CITRA and Amazon signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, on sidelines of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's visit to Washington last month.
The MoU will contribute to digital transformation of Kuwait thus honoring 2035 vision.
The agreement will help promote development of cloud service that would enhance the performance of the government bodies. (end) skm.bs
