They explained that the process of supplying is through direct contracting with Al-Kout Company for Industrial Projects. The Public Authority for Industry has sent the contract's documents to the State Audit Bureau as part of the pre-monitoring procedures.
Public Authority for Industry plans and estimates the requirements of different industries for seawater which is necessary for cooling purposes especially in petrochemical factories and refineries. It also plans and follows up maintenance programs and prepares technical studies on all mechanical and electrical works required for operating and maintaining the water pumping plants as well as the electronic equipment, generators and their accessories.
