Lao, Thai officials to seek ways to increase trade value


(MENAFN) Lao and Thai officials were unveiled to be set to hold talks aimed at discovering ways to increase their joint trade value.

The officials from both countries will conduct a high-level trade meeting from Tuesday until Thursday in the Lao capital Vientiane.

Vientiane Times reported the officials to be seeking measuring to boost bilateral trade between Laos and Thailand to hot USD10 billion by 2021.

The trade value between the two countries has stood at USD6.17 billion last year, recording a 5.1 percent raise compared to 2016.
