Kuwait football team's formation announced ahead of Iraq friendly match
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 3 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait national football team manager Fahad Al-Awadh announced Monday that 25 players were chosen ahead of the friendly match against Iraq on September tenth. The match is held in celebration of FIFA day. In a press release, Al-Awadh said that players from the Olympic squad will be included in the formation, adding that the team will begin training at Al-Yarmouk stadium.
Renowned striker and Qadsiya star Bader Al-Mutawa is expected to make an appearance in the match alongside local footballers and some Kuwait professionals playing in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. (end) fsa.gaa
