Emdad's workshop to focus on supply chain transformation
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) An upcoming workshop organised by Qatari company, Emdad Supply Chain will address the impact of supply chain transformation.
The workshop will be held in Doha from September 25 to 27.
Supply chain management is a valuable tool for companies competing both locally and globally, where companies are striving to deliver high-quality products at a competitive price, the company has said in a statement.
'Keeping in mind that supply chain has become a more strategic, core business activity, specific and up-to-date relevant skills and knowledge add to delivering competitive advantages. And, as such, the job market for those understanding and overcoming the current challenges is growing, the statement noted.
All individuals willing to learn more about supply chain transformation and optimisation, thus being their current daily work or having an intention to join this developing segment, are encouraged to participate in this event. 'Innovations, being a part of human development, aim to bring changes.
These changes influence global markets and create disruptions in daily operations. This is why digitisation is one of the preconditions of smooth business transition in times of innovations. Qatari companies, largely depending on supply chain management, must be ready to embrace the new business environment and positively affect Qatar society in general, said Ali al-Marri, founder of Emdad Supply Chain.
Youssef Kenawy, a prominent supply chain leader in the Mena region, will lead the workshop along with Emdad Supply Chain specialists.
