(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, July 11 (Petra)--Dozens of Jewish settlers on Wednesday stormed Al Aqsa Mosque-Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem.
General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib told Petra's correspondent in Ramallah that 51 settlers stormed Al Aqsa yards under the protection of Israeli forces and special units.
The settlers he added, performed Talmudic rituals and made suspicious tours amid a state of anger among Muslim worshippers.
