Jordan- Hot weather forecast over weekend

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 5 (Petra) -- Relatively hot conditions are expected to prevail for next three days in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD).

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD said.

Daytime temperatures expected today in Amman will reach 34 degrees Celsius and in the northern cities 30, dropping down at night to 22 and 20 degrees at night, while temperatures in the southern governorates will range between a high of 31 and a low of 18. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees and lows plunging at 30, the JMD added.
