(MENAFN) The Israeli occupation of Arab territories is the original source for the clashes that erupted in the Middle East, as insisted Syria's Ambassador to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari.
"Syria believes that the cause of the conflicts in the Middle East has been and continues to be the Israeli occupation of Arab territories, including Syria's occupied Golan," the Syrian envoy stated at a UN Security Council session.
The envoy warned of accelerated tensions and more threats to international safety and peace if there was any effort to form new conflicts to have the Israeli entity through the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
Al-Jaafari stressed "some governments still politicize the humanitarian file in Syria," adding that those countries "falsify information, fabricate evidence, and manipulate reports on the use of chemical weapon in Syria."
He added "the Syrian government has never [used] and will not use any toxic chemical weapons, which it originally doesn't possess after eliminating them on board US ships in the Mediterranean Sea."
