Algeria's APS head calls for cooperation with Iran to counter attacks

(MENAFN) Head of Algeria Press Service (APS) Abdelhamid Kacha reportedly highlighted the need for media in his country and Iran to boost ties to address assaults by domineering countries.

During an interview with IRNA, the APS chief stated "with regards to the numerous commonalities between Iran and Algeria, it is necessary to strengthen relations between the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) and APS."

Kacha noted that strengthening media ties allow for better political, economic, and cultural relations between Algeria and Iran.

He added "after signing the memorandum of understanding, the two parties should fortify their relations and discuss issues of common interest along with practicing mutual respect."
