Bangladesh: separate road crashes leave 33 deaths


(MENAFN) Over 33 people have died as many more were wounded in separate road crashes in Bangladesh on Saturday.

In one deadly accident, more than 16 people have died as another 30 were hurt in Gaibandha district, 268 km away from capital Dhaka early on Saturday.

The fatal collision took place as a night coach from Dhaka drifted off the road and plunged into a ditch after crashing into a tree.

Eleven deaths have been informed about in the country on the same day.
