Major Pakistani politicians pledge to adopt policies of Turkey's Erdogan


(MENAFN) Leading Pakistani politician parties have pledged to adopt the policies of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Pakistan for progress to be witnessed if they won the upcoming general elections.

The vow has been made by leaders of major political parties that include Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz group) and the five-party religious alliance, Muttehida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA).

During a public meeting, they promised to make Pakistan an economic power through following the steps of President Erdogan if they claimed victory in the July 25th elections.

Posting on Twitter an image of him and Erdogan, The PML (N) President Shehbaz Sharif wrote "two leaders belonging to the two brotherly countries are making a case for re-election to serve their respective people."

Sharif added "besides sharing incredible chemistry and unwavering brotherly bond, what distinguishes them from the rest is their dedication and marvelous track record of public service."
