H E Sajwani honours winners of Kuwait contest

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H E Dr Fu'ad bin Ja'afar bin Mohammed al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries honoured the Omani team that won the first place in the field of STEM at the Kuwait Innovation Competition for Girls 2018.

The team won the honour for the project, 'Combating Red Palm Weevil with Safe Natural Extracts'. It was presented by the students, Afnan bint Ya'qub al Rawahiya, Falesteen bint Ya'qub al Azriya and Samira bint Salim al Selaimiyah, the supervisor of the project from Umm al Khair School in the Directorate General of Education in Dakhliyah.

H E Sajwani praised the Omani youth's ability to innovate and excel in all fields, noting that the ministry spares no effort to help the ambitious youth and provide all facilities and support these projects that serve the agricultural sector in the sultanate.
