(MENAFN) Yemeni security officials declared that armed men have gunned down a pro-government military colonel in the southwestern city of Taiz.
Col. Radwan el-Wassabi, who was supported by the United Arab Emirates, has been fatally shot, as over four of his guards were injured in central Taiz..
The city is divided between government and rebel control.
However, it was still unknown who was the attacker.
