Turkey targets single digits to be seen in inflation rate

(MENAFN) Turkey's Economic Coordination Committee was declared to be planning to reduce the inflation rate to single digits.

Turkish economy minister Nihat Zeybekci noted that the current inflation rate is not the figure that was expected to be seen during the first half of the year in the medium-term program.

The Turkish minister announced the government to be taking a number of steps to reach the targeted rate of inflation.

Minister Zeybekci affirmed "we will raise product supply, support greenhouses, minimize agricultural production losses, and avoid speculations."
