Indian who groped Filipina in Dubai sentenced to 3 months
(MENAFN- Asia Times) An Indian manager was sentenced to three months in jail for publicly groping a Filipina life coach in Al Karama, Dubai.
The 44-year-old Filipina was walking with a friend when the man indecently assaulted her, Gulf News reported.
The Filipina yelled at the man and reported the incident to the police. The man was later arrested.
At the Dubai Court of First Instance, the man pleaded not guilty to molesting the Filipina, but on Tuesday was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. After serving his sentence he will be deported.
The Filipina has reportedly filed a civil lawsuit against the man seeking compensation of 21,000 dirhams (US$5,718).
