Kuwaiti oil price down to USD 72.15 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 6 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwait oil went down by 75 cents to USD 72.15 per barrel Tuesday after being at USD 72.90 per barrel the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Wednesday.
At the global level, the price went up due to a report regarding an unofficial US demand from Saudi Arabia and other OPEC members to increase production.
The price of the Brent crude went up by nine cents to USD 75.38 per barrel, the price of the West Texas Intermediate also went up by 77 cents to USD 65.52 pb. (end) gta
