British companies seek enhancing ties with Iran


(MENAFN) UK firms are considering expanding and developing their partnerships with Iran, as confirmed Vice Chairman of Board of Directors of the British-Iranian Chamber of Commerce Sirous Mehdizadeh.

The vice chairman affirmed that the UK companies are looking forward for the EU's new instructions to counter with US sanctions imposed on Iran.

Vice Chairman Mehdizadeh noted that the British government is in opposition of the US withdrawal of the Iran nuclear accord and is in support of the agreement.

Mehdizadeh added "in this regard, British government works very hard with the remaining members of the deal in order to keep JCPOA alive."
