Iran to reduce cost of cotton supply to Uzbekistan by 40 percent
(MENAFN) Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi declared his country to be set to cut costs of cotton transportation from Uzbekistan to Iran's southern ports by 40 percent.
The announcement has been made by minister Akhoundi as he praised Iran's partnership with Uzbekistan on railway transport as extremely good.
The Iranian minister revealed "Iran's Shahid Rajaei, Imam Khomeini and Shahid Beheshti ports are ready to provide logistical facilities to Uzbek parties."
Akhoundi then added "we hope that direct flights between Tehran and Tashkent will begin as soon as possible."
